Peter Weir’s collection of appropriate technologies

One of the most useful sites on the internet for technologies suitable for local application within the framework of projects under the Model is the CD3WD site run by Peter Weir in Harare, Zimbabwe. For more information refer to the introduction to Peter Weir’s work.

Peter Weir's work can be accessed through his index of single issue CD3WD file groups.

Peter Weir’s entire website can be downloaded. Because of its size, many local operators in developing countries may not be able to do this. If you have colleagues and friends busy with grass-roots development work who are interested in these technologies, download the site, copy it onto CD’s and send them to them. They form a high quality constructive gift. Your colleagues and friends will be grateful.
